I need some suggestions for the best way to polish the wire wheel covers on a 67 Mustang. Doing them by hand takes hours and I was hoping there was something that could help. I was thinking about the Powerball mini, but not sure how well that would work. The biggest problem is the disk between the rows of spokes

I haven't seen a set of those in a very long time(maby 15 years) But the last set I polished up I used a dremel tool and a whole lot of assorted wheels.

Took some time but they turned out great.

Hope that helps!

I would use the power cone instead. I think it would be able to get in between better than the ball.

By hand may be the best option though. I think there is too much detail for the power cone/ball. I would use something like cquartz or opti-coat to seal them with once you get the results you are happy with. That will prevent the need to polish them again for a while
