Wolfgang Deep Gloss Paint Sealer = meguiars ultimate liquid wax?

Hi everyone. I'm a newbie so forgive me if I am posting in the wrong place. I am confused by something. Are these two products essentially the same thing (opinions about quality aside)? I have the latter (MG ULW) and was looking to purchase the former but I am getting the impression that they do the same thing. Is that correct or incorrect.

They are both paint sealants. Hope that helps in answering your question.

They do the same thing in terms of both being LSPs (last step protectant).

Each would provide your paint with some level of protection.

IMO...Determining if:

"essentially the same thing"...(as in having
similar ingredients)...

and:

"doing the same thing"...[as both being
categorized to be last step products (LSPs)]...

Thanks for the helpful responses. I am going to stick with the Meguiars at least for now. May try WG next time.

IMO, there the same type products, but WG far out glosses and out slicks Megs by far. Theres no comparison there, plus WG lasts a while, Ive sene it last a good 6 months on a DD

And IME, UW will last 4-6 months pretty easily as well. Not sure I would say WG outglosses and is slicker. It's fairly close here

Based on the last two comments I think I will finish the bottle of UW and buy WG as my next purchase. I'll post my findings (in about a year, if the claims are true
