I recently purchased the Wolfgang Perfekt Vision Glass Care Kit, and had the chance to apply it over the weekend... I'll break the kit down by product..

The kit in general comes with everything you need to clean and add a hydrophobic - Water Repellent layer to your windshield. It includes:
  • Perfekt Vision Glass Cleaner
  • Perfekt Vision Glass Polish
  • Applicator Pad
  • Waffle Weave Microfiber Glass Towels

As far as the two main products (Cleaner and Polish) go, reviews are below.

Wolfgang Perfekt Vision Glass Cleaner 32 oz
The size is one of the most noticeable features of this - 32 ounces goes a long way. The bottle is easy to grip, and instructions are clearly printed and easy to follow. Application is pretty much standard for a quality, streak free glass cleaner. (Apply one coat liberally, wipe off, then fine mist a second application). It certainly lives up to its reputation as far as a cleaner goes. The windshield (and all exterior windows) looked fantastic after using the glass cleaner. I could see there were some spots that were easily removed by the product. Encouraged by the success on the car, I tried it on other glass items around the house (Screen door -Glass partition, bathroom mirrors) and they are also looking fantastic. I also noticed that fog didn't last as long on the bathroom mirrors after the application of the cleaner. The product does claim water repellency at 30 MPH, but I'm hesitant to confirm that - more details in the polish section.

Also - a bird targeted my windshield shortly after adding the polish, but the cleaner took it right off.

Wolfgang Perfekt Vision Glass Polish
You get 16 ounces of this, and like the Glass Cleaner, a little goes a long way. The kit also comes with an applicator pad. Directions for application are clear and simple. Apply to Pad (or DAP Pad), Polish until the product is mostly clear, then wipe off and buff with a separate microfiber towel. Even doing this manually on the windshield doesn't turn into a time-intensive chore. Like the Cleaner above, it provides an amazingly clear streak free finish.

Overall Opinion:
In terms of ease of application, it was simple. If I can figure it out, anyone can. There is little mess with the product, and even when applying the polish by hand, it doesn't take that long for the polish to run clear and be ready for wiping/buffing.

As far as the water repellent claims of beading/rolling off the window at 30 mph, I'm not quite as sold - but there could be a number of factors.
1) I possibly applied the coat too thin. I basically quartered my windshield and applied to one quarter at a time. Maybe I should have gone with slightly smaller sections.
2) The rain we got after application was fairly light - so though it did bead on the windshield (and other windows), it didn't splash/splatter the way some storms do.
3) At one point, I noticed repellency starting around 25 mph. At other points in my trip, water didn't bead up until 50-55 mph. Even then, I still needed my wipers (on max delay) as not all water was streamed off the windshield and simply collected/ran down the windshield (instead of up and off) until wiped.

I'm withholding a final judgement until I get to drive my car in a better storm in the 35-45 mph range. The early returns look promising due to the lightness of the rain and possible application error (applying to thin).
