Hi guys,

Been a while since I've posted because I've started my first job but I wanted to give a quick update to the Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Coating that I used on a few cars last year. Sorry it's not too detailed.

I applied it to both my 2011 Tahoe Z71 as well as my girlfriend's 2013 Subaru Impreza and my Dad's 2010 Audi A6 Avant.

My Tahoe has been outside all winter here in Buffalo, NY and while it's been a relatively mild winter, my truck has been covered in salt and dirt most of the winter. It's had 4 washes since being coated in November. I applied the coating to the paint, and windows. I took these pics yesterday while the truck was still dirty to show the beading now.

Truck still beads like crazy and surprisingly, the water still beads up and flies off the windshield while driving in the rain! I'm impressed with the coating and will continue to use it. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the Subaru but I washed it the other week and it displayed the same behavior as my Tahoe. Having used this coating on these cars plus an Alpina B7 and a 750Li, S550, I love it! It's crazy easy to apply and wipe off and the gloss is jaw dropping. I will continue using it on any future cars that I detail.

I'll be home in a few weeks to visit family and will check in on dad's Audi then to see how it's held up in the NC climate. I just realized I never did a write up for his car but here are a few pics of it. 2-step detail and coated with WG Uber.

I'll update this thread once I get home and see the Audi and I'll also post updates of the Subaru next time I wash it!

The beading on the Tahoe is pretty impressive for it being dirty. Typically the dirt/pollen reduces beading. I'm impressed!

It is pretty impressive. Then again the top half stays a little cleaner than the bottom half on these big trucks. Luckily pollen hasn't hit up here yet!

How does the lower sections that have had more contact with salt and road debris look?

I used Sonic Net Shield on my car this winter - and I was disappointed it was basically stripped of the lower sections - the hood and roof still beading.

I've used other sealants with better success for winter than netshield - but would opt for some Uber Ceramic if it holds up to salt....

Well said!

The real story here is the wheels on the avant, are you kidding me with those :urtheman:

I'll take some pics next time I wash it. Here is one from earlier the day of the ones already posted that kind of shows the bottom of the truck..

Thanks. It's dad's car. He recently dropped it on some KW V2s. Also I just found this pic. It's from last week. It was coated in December.
