I have just tried wolfgang sio2 as a quick detailer its one of the best i have ever used it will be my go too from now on if you have not tried it give it a shot
 
I agree, I tried some a few weeks back and I find it slicker and more gloss than CarPro Ech20. Another attribute I’ve found is the dust on my hood seems way less with the Wolfgang
 
Yes it checks all the boxes, great slickness, gloss, smells amazing, no streaking
 
Is this stuff used as a drying aid, or after the car has been dried?

Does that even matter?

I use it as a drying aid on ceramic coated vehicles when I wish to boost the coating with a ceramic booster. Heres the text I copied from a FB post:

I performed our Emerald Package on the Audi A6. The wheels, paint and glass had already been ceramic coated, so the car was very easy to wash. I actually applied a booster to the ceramic coated surfaces in three ways.

1. I added an SiO2 Rinseless wash to my wash solution to boost my wash and provide lubricity, providing an over all SAFER wash of the vehicle.

2. I utilized and SiO2 waterless wash as a DRYING AID to provide LUBRICITY during the drying process and lay down some SiO2 protection.

3. I applied a CERAMIC BOOSTER which will help to extend the life of the coating for up to 6 MONTHS!

Here are the directions for the WG Uber SiO2 Rinseless Wash from the AG website:

"To make it waterless wash, at 1/3 ounce to 16 ounces of water. For a clay lubricant, add 1 ounce to a gallon of water. If you want to make it a detail spray, add 3 ounces to a gallon of water. And finally, if you want to add lubricity to another car wash, add ½ ounce to another soap. It’s basically a 5-in-1 product!"

1/3 once is approximately 9.85784319 milliliters. If you purchase the WG Uber SiO2 Rinseless Wash squeeze bottle it has a measurement of 10 milliliters on the reverse side of the OZ measurements on the fill cup of the bottle.

You can squeeze out two 10 OZ measurements into a 32 OZ spray bottle and then use that as your drying aid and waterless wash.
