I have found a unopened bottle of this product, not sure that's a good thing.
It's unopened and about 4 years old, will it be ok, does it have a expiry date type thing?
 
Give it a good shake. I don’t think product will crystallize so u should be good to go.

I would open it up and look in it. If hood spray on Nitrile glove and “feel” it. If good I would use it.

It may be OK, but I'd do a small test spot to see how the application goes.

My concern with a coating that old in one of those plastic spray bottles would be how fast the product will flash. Back when PBMG rolled out those spray coatings across their brands many years ago in those plastic bottles, I got the Blackfire Coating. Even new, it flashed almost instantly while being spread and the application was a nightmare. The general consensus at the time was the bottles weren't sealing as tightly as they should.

That it goes on easy/. Not to sticky or grabby. If it makes a crunchy sound I’d stop

What about wipe off would there be a difference?

If the stuff is getting old or been exposed to the air, application AND wipe off will be very sticky, smeary, and grabby as mentioned already and it will flash instantly. You'll have a mess before you even try to wipe it off.

I don't know if I'd do it on a wheel. In the event the application is a total failure, you want it to be in a place you can polish it off easily. I'd try a small spot on a trunk lid or other easy to access flat spot.

I used some Wolfgang SCC this spring that's a few years old. Application was fine. Water beading didn't seem as tight as when it was brand new.
