Wool Pads

Just got my order of LC foamed wool pads to use with my PC7424. I have some deep scratches on my black hood. Are these the best product to start with? I am planning to use XMT4. Do you apply it directly to the pad? Any suggestions? Thanks. :cheers:

I have never used wool pads with PC , they are very abrasive. I have seen several posts on the forum (corvette) about the purple ones and Menzerna polish. I say tread lightly as it sounds like a pretty harsh combo !
