while working m105 during a small portion i keep drying out very quickly even in 85% humidity, i was wondering can i use OTC quick detailing spray from megs? and still have the same results?

M105 has a short work time. What pads are you using?

I use a rotary for correction. It does dry out quickly, but then just do a tiny spritz of water and it extends the working time.

and does water brake down how well it works? or is more pass's required?

I'm assuming by your original post that you were not happy with the results obtained during the short work time. Spritzing with water allows you to keep working the area and extends the time. don't use too much or it gets runny....just a wee bit. The results will continue to come.

yeah i working it by hand, i got some of the swirls out and what not, i have used it before and got great results, but im watching how much product loss im having by having to stop and clean spent product off the pads and starting over. thanks for the info i will try the little tiny bit of water spray and see how it works out. because i love m105 and intend on using it forever

I have the same problem when I'm working it with PCXP.
Richy when you say spray water do you spray the pad or on the panel you're working on?

Spread 105 on a low speed and then with the lightest mist setting you can have with a spray nozzle squeeze one time holding the nozzle about 8-10 inches away. Main idea is to not spray it all in one spot. Play with the idea and tune it to your liking.

You can do either. I spritz the pad before I start a panel, and if I need a little more. Most of the time I spritz the panel.

Has anyone tried mixing 205 with 105 to extend work time?

no but i might give that a try tonight, i thought about adding things too it but i dont know i want to do all the steps in the right order, m105, 205.. etc etc
