Hey guys i was thinking it would be great if we could have a customer account page that would have our recent orders and their status, as well as being able to sign on and order from our account with out having to fill in all the info every time. Any one else think this is a good idea? I don't know how feasible this would be for PBMG to set up. Just a thought.

This already exists ....

On the Autogeek home page scroll down and on the left hand side click on 'register for an account' then input all of your data. We Are Car Care -- Car Wax, Car Polish, Auto Detailing Supplies, Car Buffers & Car Accessories Store

Now you will be able to pull up your account every time you order, create a wish list and view order history :xyxthumbs:
awesome have been looking on the site for two weeks for a sign in page and have missed it the whole time

ok , AG is great i signed up for the account and it automatically had my previous orders ...sweeet !!!
I spent that much ?????

I never knew that this existed either, just registered and thankfully it just shows my last few orders and not all of my previous orders. I don't even want to know that number.

Don't feel bad, I think I ordered from here the first time in 2005 when I heard about AG on another forum I used to spend a lot of time on. I don't order real often, but a couple of times a year, anyway, and I always grumble a little about having to fill in all my data every time...and I also just found out there's a way to "log in".

It's too far down on the page and it doesn't force you to go thru it when you place an order, so I guess I just missed it somehow all these years.

EDIT: I'm looking at it again--there is no sign-in "box" which is typical of most sites, so it just kinds of blends into the menu.

HA! You're in good company with more members than you might think!

The only thing that sticks is - I call Nick to place orders, so that does not show up :(

it took me a while to realize they had it on the main page too. they need a login at the top of the page like most sites do, just my two cents=)

You know i am starting not to feel so bad about this now. Just got to say that the members on this forum rock! Very professional and helpful.

I always wondered why there was a wishlist if it never kept a data of it...damn.

Time to sign up!

The login process was just fixed a few days ago. Before that it failed to identify registered account email addresses. (Email address is used as ID, not user name.)

Maybe the next step will be to move the login fields to the top panel.

I just registered after finding this thread but it doesn't show past orders that I made by phone. Does it only show online orders?

I have only ever ordered online, and it only showed my last few. I think the database only goes back to last year or so.

Thanks flash. My order history shows when I go through the customer service link bit not on the accounts page so I was wondering. I'm still learning how to navigate the site.

Most sites usually have login information at the top of the web page, not on the bottom-left of the page, which for most will require some significant scrolling.
