I got the opportunity to try ONR for the first time today...

I worked a burn day at the Fire Academy and parked my Jeep in the employee parking area. It was an end spot, but it was under the trees.

At the end of the day, thre were a few "avian deposits" on the hood and roof, along with stuff from the trees. Since my community is under temporary water restrictions, it was the perfect time to try out ONR.

I mixed 1 and half ounces into 3 gallon bucket, used a fresh clean wash mitt and a microfiber drying towel and cleaned the Jeep.

My reaction to ONR? Wow, I am impressed! :dblthumb2:

I'll be doing wifey's Edge this evening.

Ok I had to check the date of this post 3 times, you JUST NOW tried ONR??? Its like crack.

Optimum No Rinse is a nice product and I hear the current product is a new formulation...:props:

I did too when I read the first line of the 1st post. It's very useful in places where it rain almost everyday.

I still rather the old fashioned bucket method of washing but I also live in an area with no water restrictions!

I just got in from ONR'ing my Acura ZDX. The new formula contains twice the amount of unicorn tears as previous versions!

This is the first time that we have had temporary water restrictions that totally banned car washing. The last time there were restrictions, one could wash a car after on odd/even days, depending on what side of the street you lived on.

If there were no restrictions, I would have used my pressure washer and foam gun!

Wifey's Edge was more of a challenge, as I haven't washed it in over two weeks, and with her taking our 5 year old stepniece to the beach ( and we all know how quickly a 5 year old can trash her area of the car) and wifey's going away for a "girls weekend at the beach", coupled with my schedule and the rain we have been having, it was, in two words, rather messy.

ONR cleaned it up quite nicely!

Last reformulation was first quarter of 2010.

Chris confirmed no recent change to ONR. Maybe you were thinking about Power Clean?Feed back please

I started using ONR a few yrs ago when SC was having a drought I would pull the car in the garage shut the door and wash with just 2 buckets it was great. I have been using it ever since even without water restrictions

The new Power Clean will be available very soon.

Same here, but I bought some myself for mostly QD and clay lube use. I do plan to use it as a wash in the winter around here though because even though Sacramento CA doesn't get that cold in winter, I still don't want to play with a hose in January.

I'm doing an ONR wash of my Mustang for tomorrow's show... the paintwork and jambs are done... taking a short break before cleaning the wheels and wheelwells.

OP.....I still have never tried the No Rinse. I just can't wrap my head around the idea. Kinda freaks me out a little bit to be honest
