Wrangler Hard top care

I have a Wrangler hard top with the Black removeable Panels as is the entire top Black, not a soft top, I was using Turtle Wax Interior and Exterior Trim protectant on the outside trim and not thinking just moved to the top and did the top, did I mess up the top.

No, you didn't mess it up.

I have tried a bunch of products on my wife's Wrangler hardtop including many trim products.

A trim product like WETS works, but that top is huge and WETS is expensive. Also, the top isn't the same material as plastic trim.

I have settled on just giving it a good wash, and then hitting it with a spray wax like DG Aquawax or Optimum Spray Wax.

Plus, as soon as the weather turns warm, my wife drops that hard top like a bad habit for her soft top. Lol
