First of all I'd like to thank Juan (Administrator) for all the hard work it must have taken to get this forum switched over to XenForo, including the gallery. I think all of us active members appreciate it, after whatever it was that was slowing down the old vB software.
In poking around some old threads to see if everything was working, I found the search in XenForo works quite differently than vB. I was looking for an old thread of mine, and found that in advanced search, you can't filter it by who started the thread, only a general search on that user, which brings up all the threads with posts by that user, which makes it difficult if you have a lot of posts, plus as with vB, there seems to be a page limit that will display.
I thought I would try a different way by going to the member list, and experimenting with that search, I found that you can't search for a partial user name, only the full name, and you can't get an alphabetical list like in vB.
Putting those two things together seems like it would be really difficult to find an old thread that you posted in if you can't quite remember the thread-starter's user name, exactly.
I don't know if there are software options for any of this, or if there are members who have more experience with XenForo that know any work-arounds. I know these are nitpicks and small things in the overall scheme of things.
I guess the last comment/question for those of us that are also members of (PBMG-owned) Autopia, is will that forum also be upgraded to XenForo? Will the gallery there, which hasn't worked for a long time, be salvaged, or is that already lost? Or will Autopia forum disappear, as the Autopia Car Care store already has?
