hi all,
Ive been using Pinnacle XMT 180 High Gloss Carnauba Paste Wax w/ very good success. I have now switched to a orbital polisher to apply my waxes and polishes. would I get the same result using Pinnacle Liquid Souveran™ Car Wax as I did w/ the paste wax?
Thanks,
Mike

i would go with souveran paste wax .. this is truly the best wax out there !!! but must be applyed regularly. for me every 3 weeks or so . but worth it . gets me outa the house from my crazy wife:help:

I would do the Pinnacle Liquid Souveran by hand. Rather the buffer. My experience with applying liquids with a machine, is using too much product

And as trhland stated Pinnacle Souveran is the great wax. That give one of the best glows are dark color cars

the reason I am using a machine to apply and remove the waxes is both of my shoulders are worn out (old age and years of abuse) not because I'm lazy.

I prefer to always apply a wax or sealant by hand. Liquid Souveran looks very good on light colors. Looks great on my wife's white car.

Just tried some XMT 180 today.....Goes on and off easy and a little goes a long way. I'd think it would lend it's self to machine application really well. Nice deep Nuba shine, and this stuff smells good to boot! Take the paste out of the tub spread a little on a blue or red pad and go for it. Like Mike says "find something you like and use it often". Sounds like you like the XMT 180, Put it on with the buffer and keep liking it!:buffing:

$95 for a wax that needs applied every 3 weeks??? This can't be true can it?

Beauty wax....while the protection will most likely last a week or so more depending on weather, the original gloss will have faded. All Carnauba based protectants don't have a very long life expectancy, except a few.

Just curious...For you folks that use the liquid souveran, what is the consistancy of the wax? I went to try my sample bottle of LS today, but it was really really runny, even after shaking the bottle for a couple minutes. I would say it was comparable to 2% milk in thickness of the liquid.

i love the liquid souverain. bought a half gal for my own cars. siliver best shine i have seen for this color car. use fuzion, souv paste, e zyme carnubas too but this is my go to for metal silver. the consistency is very loose about 2 1/2% milk ha ha. i am also an old fart 61 and use the flex for all waxes liq and paste but arthritus is a silly thing to challenge. for what its worth.

I too got the 2 oz. sample of it. When it first came it was really thin, but after shaking it for a while it got way thicker. From my experience it will never be as thick as some other liquids like NXT. I was very pleased with how easy it worked with the red pad.

I used my sample tonight too. It was very runny and had oil blobs in it. I just kept shaking it and it finally became more like most liq waxes. Have not seen the car in the sun to see how I liked it. Did a panel w it, 1 with Pinnacle SSII paste and 1 with Megs #26 liq.
