If this would have been offered in my area, I would have it installed before I took my truck off the lot! I hate windshield hits and chips.

We do a fair bit of this. There is a very slight distortion that some notice, some don’t. It might bug me so skipped it on latest car.

Good to know, was starting to look at this. I know it would bother me then.

To me, yes. I’ve got XPEL XR 55% on my windshield and I don’t notice that at all.

Watch what Xpel dealer you use if you go that way, as Xpel will not back their own dealers nor customers if you have issues without threat of legal action (I found out first hand, bad tint + bad job/damage.)
I had to fight with them and the dealer (threaten litigation) to fix/make good issues I had with their film and the install. I've talked to a few dealers and you can find some of my convos with them on YouTube about Xpels poor support and backing...
Xpel Prime XR and + are way different too. Wasn't worth the upgrade cost to the + imho, let alone for what I was charged for the XR. They are different colors too, The XR is grey the XR+ is brownish (extremely different side by side.)
