Somebody sent this to my biz partner at the office, I'm half Irish lol.

Subject: You gotta love the Irish



Bono is at a U2 concert in Ireland when he asks the audience for some quiet. Then in the silence, he starts to slowly clap his hands.

Holding the audience in total silence, he says into the microphone..."Every time I clap my hands, a child in Africa dies."

A voice from near the front of the audience pierces the silence..." Then fookin stop clapping ya arsehole. :D

Hey Surfer, was it your mom or dad that was born in Ireland? I lived in Dublin for a year...

Neither, it was either my fathers parents or his grandparents that were from Ireland, can't remember. Last time I was Ireland was a couple years ago, stayed there for almost 2 months. Though I don't look or sound Irish lol, look more Italiano and Tan lol.

Funny story...not sure how smart Bono is but he has more heart then most.
