Hey AG, my name's Justin, and over the past year I've really gotten into detailing thanks to Larry Kosilla over at AMMO NYC, and the Drive Channel's Drive Clean on YouTube. I'm 20 years old and am trying to gain as much knowledge as I can online, especially from this forum.

My detailing knowledge up until last year was from my father and grandfather who were from the "old school" of detailing -- whatever rag you can find, dish soap, dirty chamois, and one bucket. :nomore: Now I use the "proper" technique. :) They can't believe how vastly different the results are between the two methods. Currently I'm working on perfecting my use of the DA polisher.

I'm a perfectionist in a every way, and absolutely cannot stand swirl marks. I guess I fit in here well.

Here are some pictures of my last detail:

Great job on a great car.

Thanks for the responses everyone!

Something I forgot to mention too was my passion for any and every automobile. New or old, expensive or inexpensive, American-made or foreign, I share an equal respect for all automobiles. I believe each car has a history that makes it unique and sets it apart, just like every car presents a unique challenge in detailing. I believe that is why I quickly developed a passion for it. Detailing allows me spend hours around and maintaining my true passion in life, automobiles. Although I am young, I've had the opportunity to work on some truly wonderful cars, and I look forward to my future in detailing.

Up until now, I've only detailed my friend's and family's cars. I will soon be detailing a company car which will not have been cleaned for three months. It will be a production detailing job, and I look forward to posting about it.
