Your favorite pad + why it's your fave :-)

LC CCS 5.5" and 4" spot buffs.

Yellow & Orange for cut
White for polish
Grey/Black for Paste Wax
Blue for liquid wax

I realize CCS is a bit thicker, but I change my pads often. Secondly, the dimples control heat. Some may say the pad is thicker and does not correct as well, however I find that to be untrue as I have compared them to the hydro-tech and keep coming back to the CCS. I get great results and I'm ok with being on the conservative side of aggressiveness.

Since getting the Boss, I have used the GG Boss MF pads, and like them. I also purchased the equivalent of the above in the GG Boss series pads as well, I just haven't used them yet.

I may try the new LC flat pads as well.

I'm of sound mind to follow Mike Phillips advice, when you find something you like and it works for you, stick with it.

Well, I bought 6 Orange and 6 white CCS pads, but I'm curious about these "hybrid" pads now. I watched Mike's video on youtube yesterday about those 3 with the wolfgang lineup, and it seems so easy. I got orange/white because I didn't know what else to get! Thanks Paul for the heads up about the grey/black and the blue. This is just the info I was looking for. I'm excited to get some time behind the 3401 finally :D

Lake Country CCS 6.5 pads, orange for light cutting and swirl removal compund, white or green / polishing coumpound, black/ nano polish, paste wax, blue/paste or liquid wax. Red /final wax. Great pads !

I love CCS pads too. They're ten years old this fall of 2016. If nothing else, they're proven performers, and have always performed great for me.
