Your Favorite Pad

I got the PC7424xp and I ordered all the colors of Lake Country CCS 5.5 pads, along with 2 flat white pads, the set of hydrotechs, and 6.5 jeweling pad.

What is your favorite one and why.



I am new to this real detailing a car gig...I have been washing and waxing my car by hand for the last 12 or so years. I just recently discovered websites like Autogeek and Autopia. In the last month I have spent close to $800 on buying detail supplies. Much better investment than FB stock I guess.

I like the thin Hydro tech pads, they don't soak up the product like some, finish very well. But they are not as durable as say the CCS pads. Like them the best tho.

Mine used to be a tangerine hydro.......now its mf cutting( megs and Optimum running neck and neck)

Don't get me wrong my hydros have a use and i love them alltho they don't last long, but mf IMHO get things done and quickly.

Lc purple foamed wool is another favorite.

I feel that Optimum MF pads last longer than the megs.......but alot of it goes with cleaning technique.

sometimes mf does not cut it then I turn to foam and then its hydro only.........I have established a technique and these fit the bill............I'm old and its hard to change LOL
