What do you use for your one step and two step corrections? I use below but I am almost out and looking to get something better. Apologies if this is asked before.

chemical guys VSS swirl remover/Tuttle wax one and done

meguirs ultra cut for two step

I use the TW one and done. Once a year. Then follow up with their SC. Never had issues with it. And preps and clean the paint fine.

Have also heard BF AIO is a fine product.

Yeh TW needs some elbow grease to remove through :-) my pads get black fast with it and have to clean often that’s the only complaint

1 steps: sonax perfect finish and cut and finish, griots correcting cream, 3D One, S20 black etc

On some hard paints, Scholls S2 Black does some incredible things, so does Menzerna 400

3D One.

If I need something really aggressive I'm currently using 3D ACA500.

Oberk has a new 1 step called Sole too. I wonder if it can compete with the big boys...considering it's very late in the game - relatively.

I think i will try it out later this year when i order cancoat, before the winter.

I love 500. Have you tried aca510? I got it to try after i finished my supply of 500. And damn 510 does it cut faster lol, i love it too. Will likey stick with it.

To the OP, aca 510, menz400, and aat505 are all good one steps depending on your level of correction needs

Not yet! It is on "the list" though. I figure I'll pick up the 8oz next sale. Have you tried it with microfiber pads at all? I didn't like the AAT501 on microfiber. Cuts like mad for the first couple sections, then the fibers clog up.

Griots Fast Correcting Cream (FCC), and Correcting Cream (CC) are nothing to sneeze at, IMO.

No sir. Ive only used with foam, wool and purple foamed wool pads, with no issues at all

It should, for the very reason that it is "late" to the game. I would expect some of their newest formulations, and as such, a solid product.

3D One for 1 step and Sonax CutMax followed by Perfect Finish for 2 steps.

Ordered Sonax for 1 cut, once I am done with meguirs will graduate to 3D. Thanks all!

Depends on the condition of the paint. If it's in good shape already, I really like Meguiars M205 on an orange pad. If the paint is in bad shape, Menzerna 2500 on a blue cutting pad or even on a wool pad for DA would be my choice. Both products do a good job and are easy to wipe off. I have tried 3D One and liked how it worked but it took for ever to wipe off afterwards so I never purchased it again.

Some of the suggestions were All-in-ones and for me those are not 1 step products. First, an All-in-one usually won't do as much correction as a 1 step polish for the same amount of work. Second, if you are going to put some good protection afterwards like a great sealant or ceramic coating, the waxes in the All-in-One are a problem.

With that being said, products like Meguiars D166 Ultra Polishing Wax or D151 Paint Reconditioning cream are great for what they do.

I still really like Menzerna 400, 2500, and 3500.

This is my main lineup. I also use 3D one on occasion, just the damn wipe off. I dont keep a wide variety of products, I stick what works well on a variety of vehicles, Menzerna nails it.

The Griots BOSS line are my weapons of choice these days. Fortunately, none of my vehicles have required the need for FCC. I have used Correcting Cream on harder paint as a one-step and it worked out great. I've also found Griots Perfecting Cream with a medium cut pad to be a great one step on medium and soft paint. I've used twice now on brand new cars to shine them up a bit and remove any dealer inflicted swirls. Fantastic results.

In the past I've also used Blackfire's Polish and Compound for one-steps depending on the paint. The compound isn't as aggressive as some and with medium cut pad works great as a one step on hard paint that's in good condition. The polish works similarly on soft paint.

I did a VW Passat this week and used 3D One. My test spots yielded the following...

Blue foamed wool and my rotary for the initial cut down. No wipe off and Flex 3401 VRG, white HDO foam pad, 2 small drops on pad and refine that same section. Final and only product wipe off and move on.

Now I understand that worked on that paint on that day however with 3D One being so versatile with various pads and even machines I've come to like it for a wide application on jobs. Hard and trashed paints get my CutMax and wool or MF cutting pad approach but 3D 1 does save me a little time.

Phenomenal results but technically a 2 step correction.
