Just moved into this house and found a 1 gallon of Zep car wash cleaner and was wondering if I should use it on my vehicles without stripping the wax? I believe this is a Lowes item.
The label says it can be used with or without a pressure washer.
Thanks

Can't say that you should use it, or not.

What's the name/Zep# of this product?
What's this product's description, warnings, ingredients, etc., if any, on the label?

Can't find anything on the internet. It's mainly a blue label with yellow strip top and bottom. The label reads for pressure washers Makes up to 20 gallons
Zep commercial Car Wash cleaner concentrate
Use with or without pressure washer
Penetrates and loosens road film
Back of the container label says SLVHDVEH128C
Product code: HDVEH128

Use it and see what happens. Nothing ventured.....

According to this ZEP product's MSDS:
http://www.cor.cleaneasier.com/php/MSDS/Zep/Car Wash Cleaner Concentrate.pdf

•Hazardous Chemical:
-ethylenediamine tetraacetic acid (EDTA)
-Used as a chelating agent...Sequesters hard water minerals (Detergents "work" better.)

•pH...11.0-11.5

•Appears to be a mild detergent.

•I'll suggest that you review the entire MSDS for furthering your viewpoint of the best route to take/usage of this ZEP cleaner.

I'd be interested to know how it works in a foam cannon.
