Has anyone tried these "waxes"( Zymol calls them glazes, but they seem to be LSPs)? Glasur if "for" Porsche Paint specifically, the other is a general wax. These products seem as "boutiquey" as a boutique wax can get. I'm just curious, as I was checking out some European detail forums and they seem to love this stuff. Ingredients are very few and appear all natural. Any feedback??? Compared to Souveran? To Fuzion?

I have a tub of Concours. I love it. I only use it for special occasions because it brings out the depth in my Yellow paint the best. I dont have Glasur because I dont have a Porsche.

The Concours goes on easy and comes off super easy as well.

I would say that they compare to Fuzion and Souveran very well IMO.

Glasur can be used on all cars, and its a bit brighter looking IMO. Concours is warmer looking and wet. Both are a choir to remove if you put on too much, so thin is in. I am not a big fan of hand application either but found an applicator is just fine.

I too prefer Souveran and Fuzion ... very easy to use and just as nice looking. Cheaper too !

I use Zymol on my Acura '08 TL Type -S and '12 Acura MDX and they look great.

I just purchased their Carbon Wax; designed for Dar colored cars. I will send a picture of my '10 Challenger once I use it.

Thanks. Looking forward to it. Which Zymol was on your Acura? I was watching You Tube videos of Glasur's sheeting ability. It's amazing, I've never seen anything like it, unless it was fake. But, there was more than one person demoing it. Too bad AG doesn't carry the line.

Glasur is in my top three of waxes. And I've tried a TON of waxes. The beading is insane and it looks great on all colors. A nice wet look and gloss. Concours is more durible but I still prefer glasurs look over it. A must have wax.

Same here, Glasur has to be my top wax, and I don't own a Porsche either :D It's pretty durable too, believe it or not. It comes cheaper than other waxes actually. When you get to try out how it spreads, you'll get a lot more applications from it.

Yeah a little bit goes farrrrr.
My top three waxes have to be.
1.swissvax concorso
2.naviwax ultimate
3.zymol glasur

Let me remind you guys that I seriously have tried over 200 waxes. Everything from turtle wax- swissvax crystal rock. ($1300) I am clearly a wax nut and had the luxury of trying so many waxes out. There are so many great waxes out there. But for me those 3 are in a league of their own.

Zymol offers two different waxes for Japanease cars. The firt one and the one I use is Japon Wax. It goes on and off like butter. I was very impressed with the results. The next is Creme wax which is for light colored cars. I will be applying this on my in-laws Lincoln MKZ. Pictures to follow.

I just ordered the Pinnacle Souvern Wax. I hear a lot about it. I would also like to purchase the Wolfgang Wax. Just not sure which one.

Oddly enough, I hit the gold mine again and found a local guy that carries the Zymol line. He has all the samplers and all the waxes up to The $600.00 range. Also, he gives a discount if you pay cash, usually. I was thinking of trying Souverän, but I keep reading how poor the durability is. Fuzion seems to be getting good reviews for looks and durability, so that's a definite in the near future. Im still waiting for AGs July 4th sale, most other sites have started theirs. But really, I think I'm going for the Glasur first. A few questions:

1. Are the Zymol Glazes hard to apply or take off? Can you compare the process to an AG wax?

2. Can you just apply with a foam applicator? I tried hand application with some other 'nubas and found it too hard to get a thin even coat. But with other waxes with a foam pad I'm fine. I can see why this wouldn't work with Zymol glazes, but I'm looking for someone who has used it to comment.

3. Can you apply them over a sealant?

Extremely easy to apply thin with an applicator. Easy on and off. And I always apply a sealant before any wax. So yes.

Applied my Glasur using a yellow foam applicator - easy to apply, a small dab spreads a long way. I applied wipe-on, wipe-off, per panel, so no issues with removal either. I'm not really into the whole sealant+wax thing, so no actual experience on that, but I don't see why it would be an issue.
