Van is still running great after removing the restricting tubes.. which others have referred to as cold air intake tubes. But because i've removed the forward slats, fabric skid plate and these tubes, I think the van is getting enough air.
Sad to say, but the BG products atf fluid is not holding up even after adding the Lubegard shudder fix.. the trans is still shuddering. However, I've felt like the tech who did the drain and fill di not take the fluid to the correct level. So I added some Valvoline Dex/Mer fluid and what a difference. will be switching up to the Valvoline fluid shortly.
Amazing drive this morning. As I posted earlier, I removed the small direction intake tubes between the grille and air box and what a difference.. while at cruising speed, the van is silent, But punch it and the van takes off with a veroom. sort of sounds like a tuned Subaru Impreza taking off. Got several looks thinking we had a turbo in the the van..
Learn something today that made a big improvement to the van. while checking my handy work from yesterday where I added the lubegard to the trans, I noticed the front grille intake system looked out of sorts. turns out the clips had been broken while at other shops. Simply removed #9 & #10 what a difference! sounds like we have a turbo installed!

In Late June, I hired a fellow youtuber to install the Hardrace camber plates, he instructed me to buy new hub assemblies to use during the new install. I'm going to ask him to remove the rear brake dust shields as these have been trapping small stones between the shield and rotor. One can look for his installation video once completed.
With The front end of the van failing again due to Maryland roads.. the struts and end links tend to fail after only 2 years of use. This time I purchase a set of the Monroe struts and got a 2 year replacement warranty. Let's see how that works out. trying a new set of Godspeed end links as I can't locate the NAPA links
today's adventure was meant to happen at the shop. But the tech wasn't there.. so I ended up doing the work on the van myself. Just have to watch bending or stooping over for long periods of time. So what was accomplished? I added something called lubegard to the van's transmission.. and.. It works.

Got those chemical guys yellow microfiber towels.. they work very well unlike the green and light blue towels ordered form the 3 months ago and abruptly sent them back for a refund. Avoid the chemical guys Lime green and light blue microfiber towels.
I'm thinking of ordering metrorestyling.com vinyl wrap pattern for the van. Not sure I want blue or black.. may do the black design. Something like this would be placed in the area where there's no windows or windows should have been placed. I like the van not having windows, but does present viewing challenges.
