Had a chance to work on a 1990 Mustang 5.0 25th Anniversary Edition the other day. Owner is a member of a Mustang club here in Washington, and due to health issues just can't do it himself anymore. Car has had some body work done to it at some point in it's life. The front clip is clear-coated and the rest of the car is the original SS paint. He just wanted a quick polish on it, so I broke out the G21 with BOSS Correcting Cream on a BOSS orange cutting pad. After a proper claying, I went to work on the paint. The cleared areas were full of swirls and marring. Owner said he had run it thru a car wash a few times this spring and it showed!! The SS paint was getting oxidized and chalky. All cleaned up very nicely. This summer I'm doing a full paint correction on it prior to a show in September.
