Has anyone purchased the AG Detailer's bag? Good bag? Worth the money?

I have the Pinnacle bag and love it. I keep my Flex and PC in another bag that I picked up for the home depot.

I like mine too ... great for traveling and keeping a good amount of stuff together in one spot. You do need to keep buffers seperate.

I have the same question, and here are two threads that I found about the bag:

Looks like it is a nice bag, but if you have a flex, then it won't fit in the bag. Since I don't have a flex, I think it will work great for me. So, I added it to my Christmas wish list :)

Thanks, those links were a big help!:xyxthumbs:

I have two. One of them fell apart after five uses. The bottom compartment is closed using hook and loop (Velcro) and the stitching has completely come apart.

How long have you had it? The AG staff is awesome. I can't imagine they wouldn't fix that.

I have a Pinnacle bag and love it. Heavy duty with the metal bar as a handle. Mine is well stitched and haven't had a single problem.

I have the Pinnacle one as well and absolutely love it. It really holds so much, I was impressed!

I just recently got the AG (red) bag and I love it. Had to wait until they were back in stock though as I didn't want the black Pinnacle or Wolfgang bag.

I think everyone who has posted here will appreciate this.

I believe I posted earlier on this thread that I was looking for a bag or two as well. I decided to check out Lowes to see what kind of bags or even tool boxes they had that may work for my PC. I found a pretty nice one for $20...built quite well...decent space but nothing to go crazy over, but upon my sisters HEAVY encouragement, we went to Goodwill!

Well i've gotta tell you she was dead on...we actually found 2 bags..and the price for both was 1/2 of what the one at Lowes would have cost me...it was built as good if not better...and had more space.

I'm so happy with our finds (well really hers but it was my idea to get a couple bags) that I took a few pictures to share with you guys.

First here are the two bags, the left one is my PC bag now and the right one is a bag full of towels and a few other detailing goodies...plus their both black and match which is pretty sweet.

The towel bag actually has wheels on one side and an extendable handle, which for something as light as a towel bag isnt a must have thing, but if your hands are full and you wanna bring one more thing it could come in handy:

Heres the inside of the bag...nice area for 3 rows of towels...interior microfibers on the left, polishing ones in the middle and drying towels on the right:

Also a couple cool pouches for interior brushes/tape and some mini shop vac attachments (not seen in the picture)...and also 2 smaller pockets that wern't opened up in this pic that have things like a mini 1st aid kit (havent had to use that yet thank goodness! :buffing:) and some hose washers and other small goodies

NOWWW for my new baby, my PC bag which has a ton of storage area and holds everything i need really well :)

Here it is:

PC_Bag_1_.JPG

On the front side (the side facing you in the picture above) it has 2 zipper compartments, the front one opens up and has a seperate sleeve area in the back that worked great for some 4" pads and hand pads and smaller storage areas in the front, perfect for 'ketchup bottles' of compound/polish/wax and smaller tools:

Then the second zipper compartment behind this one works great for backing plates/brinkmann/tape etc.

Then on the back side of the bag is a 3rd zipper compartment that i put about a 1/2 dozen of my nicer polisher cloths in as well as a bottle of spray wax:

Then of course the main comparment in the middle which is only about 6-7" wide, which is perfect for my PC and 5.5" pads and even a 7" finishing pad. It holds the PC so that its not rolling around in there but its not so tight that its going to damage it, or squish my pads

Heres a better picture showing everything that fit in the middle compartment:

Like my new LC Flats and 3 Hydros :)?

Just wanted to show with a little searching and the willingness to think 'outside the bag' if you will...you can find something that will work exactly how you need it too even if you're tight on money, which i ALWAYS am lol. For $10 I got both of the bags above in like new condition at a goodwill just around the corner from me lol...so im pretty happy. Hope this helps someone out.

i use crates instead of bags. they are solid, water-proof to a degree and can be stacked. They also dont leak chemicals out if there is a spill, plus they retain odors. I know If my wheel brightener spilled while i was driving to a job i wouldnt want that possibly leaking onto my carpet.

I have the wolfgang, the side pockets are a little small. They will hold small bottles of stuff, but not large 32 oz spray bottles. I use it to hold pads, and my DA as well as some polishes. Not sure if its worth the money, probably wouldnt buy another one.

It's a good bag. I've got two of them. The ONLY thing I wish were larger outside bottle holders. As of now, they can only hold 16oz bottles. I understand the argument that keeping you from only holding 16oz bottles makes it lighter, but I'd really like to hold 32oz bottles. Maybe a velcro adjustable setup would be ideal to handle best of all worlds. Of course, if they had one that could hold my kwazar's that'd be best lol.
