This is a great product if you are working on white. Check this out...

See that white space in the middle? That is what color the rest of it should be. This is after washing and claying, so you can see how absolutely dingy the paint is. All I used on this was Poorboy's Polish with Sealant and a blue Edge 2000 pad on my Flex 3401 polisher. I was really pleased with how much better it looked when I was done.

I used the same product under the door handles. If you have a white or silver vehicle then this will probably look familiar.

Not too shabby, eh? Definitely a worthwhile product to look into if you are looking for a fast way to brighten your paint. I would probably recommend topping it with another sealant or wax just for some added pop, but it does do the trick of clearing off the dinginess and dirt that white and silver seem to pick up over time.

yeah, white is kinda tricky. Getting it to look like a polished rock is kind of an art, but there are a few products out there that make it a lot easier. Klasse SG is one of my favorites to use on white. Liquid Souveran is another that I find works really well. As long as you polish it up right beforehand, there are several good waxes and sealants that make white really pop.

Looks great OCD :xyxthumbs:

That paint looked oxidized, or is that just me?? Wasn't single stage right

It wasn't really oxidized that much, but it definitely was dingy from not being washed like it should. Blame my cell phone for crappy pictures I guess. ;) However, for an 03 with only 60K miles on it, it was in pretty decent condition. If there was oxidation on it, this product cleared that up really well. :)

I agree that Poorboy's Polish with Sealant is an excellent product. I haven't used it on white but I've found that it is great for final marring-free finish polishing on soft black paint as well. All around great stuff!

Looks great! Never used this AIO but I do love how white changes color as you move the pad over the surface when using an AIO. :xyxthumbs:

I don't think people realize how bad their white cars look sometimes. They get them because they look cleaner and waterspots don't show up on them, but that doesn't mean they aren't there. The paint just gets hidden under waterspots and oxidation and it just happens to gradually for anyone to notice. The before/after is definitely impressive when the owner comes back out to see their car. I get more wows from detailing on white than I do on any other color just because they forgot the car could shine.

Definitely a nice improvement! Your "Before and After" post back in day at Autopia is what got me hooked on KAIO. How would you compare the performance between PWS and KAIO? Thanks in advance.

Good question. I'd have to come up against another really oxidized vehicle to try it on. Lately they've all been in pretty good shape except for this one. I'll definitely start looking for an opportunity to give it a shot.

I know this is an old thread (good results btw) just wanted to comment on the question above concerning KAIO versus PwS

I've personally found PwS to have more correction ability than KAIO

the autogeek chart kinda says the same also

KAIO doesn't have any physical abrasives in it, so it doesn't take much to have more correction power. If you are just dealing with oxidation then just about any cleaner will work. ...with the right pad, of course. Oh, and with enough time. ;)
