I have been using Westleys Bleche-wite for cleaning my tires. It does the best of what I can get local. I have some APC called Blue Wolf and Bad Monkey G-20.
I have a couple of old tires to play with. With the Bleche-wite and Blue Wolf (4:1) when I spray on dry tires you could see it turn white and brown crap start coming off. With the Bad Monkey (4:1) it didn't turn any color. I them used a brush and rinse off the tires. After drying they all look about the same. What causes the cleaner to turn white? Is that good are bad?

Might just be the formulation of Westleys. Others here use that product too. If you're happy with the cost/performance/time, no reason to change your process.

Westly's will dry out your tires.

Pretty strong stuff.

For OTC I like Eagle One all wheel and tire cleaner.
Not sure if this can or will dry out the tires. Haven't seen any issues yet.
Amazing Roll Off works great for tires and wheel wells IMO and its a great price here on AG

I like to use the Amazing Roll-Off to clean my tires.
