Flex 3401...Pulling the trigger...cart critique

Well, as the title says...i really REALLY REALLY want to pull the trigger on a Flex 3401.

And with the Easter sale going on now...it looks like i picked a great time to get in on the deals.

Here is what I got in my cart:


FLEX XC3401 XMT Light Swirl Remover Kit FREE BONUS
Menzerna Super Finish (SF-4000) PO 106 FA 16 oz.
5 Inch Hybrid Power Finish Black Pad (Single)
5 Inch Hybrid Power Finish White Pad (Single)

FLEX XC3401 Changeable Backing Plate System
3 Inch Dual Action Flexible Backing Plate (for my Harbor Freight DA)

I also placed an order with Amazon for this stuff:

Foam Cannon (same one sold here and at CG, only half the cost)
CG Mr. Pink foam soap
5" DA backing pad
CG Hex Logic 6-pac of 5.5" foam pads, with pad cleaner, and 2 MF Towels
Megs APC 1 gallon
Megs Large Waffle Weave Water Magnet towles
CG Carpet Brush w/ Drill attachment, Med Duty Yellow
Menzerna FG-400 16oz

What do you guys think? Am i missing anything?

Are the CG pads for HF DA? I'd definitely get some more hybrids...
 
I think i'm tapped out enough on the pads. I want to see what works and what doesen'twith the pads.

I'm thinking i can try the CG pads on both the Flex and the HF DA.
 
Hybrids + 3401 = Match made in heaven!

I concur, if you can swing it more hybrid pads, at least one more orange & white.

Also, I like these for cleaning pads on the fly so to speak, just don't press too hard while cleaning the pads. You might be able to use a big stiff toothbrush in place of this, not sure it will work as well, but it's better than nothing.

Also, maybe throw in some pad cleaner if you don't have it already. Of course, the APC will likely work in place of that.

Ha! Congrats on the Flex - you'll love it. When your wife sees how great you can make her car look, you just might be forgiven...

I have Megs 105, and 205, Megs Ultimate Compound,and i ordered Mez fg-400 and SF 4500.

Your ride of course, I was just asking in general. May i suggest Megs M101 & SF4000...
