More than looks, I want a sealant that makes my car easier to clean and is durable. I expect that most any name brand sealant is good enough for me, but I thought I'd throw it out here and see if anyone has something they think stands out for these qualities. This will be for a daily driver that gets dirty quickly.

I haven't heard of Finish Kare before, but I see that it has its fans here. Interesting

I also see that Liquid Glass has some evangelists. Since it can't be shipped to California, it makes me curious. Must be something good in it :-) Anyone know how it stacks up against Finish Kare 1000P or Wolfgang Deep Gloss?

Liquid Glass is some serious old-school Sealant.
I believe the first time I used it was ~1970.
Good Stuff...Glossy as all get-out!!

It was the practice-at-the-time to see how many layers
a person could pile on the paint. {Mind you: This was way
before the Zaino-Zealots would be doing a similar activity.}

And...If I remember correctly:
A rogue Bull Elephant would bounce off a vehicle
wearing 25, or more, layers of Liquid Glass...with
the vehicle's paint incurring little, to no harm. :props:

Every time I try a new sealant I end up going back to Zaino Z-2 because of it's extreme durability. I just picked up a bottle of Duragloss 111 to try and I'm hoping it can outlast the 105/601 that I was extremely disappointed with. I've read a few times that 111 and Z-2 are very similar products.

I stopped using Z2 over 12 years ago, as for durability, imho it can't touch BFWD, WG 3.0 for durability and that's based upon my experience in the harsh Florida summer climate that lasts about 6 + months. And the Z2 layering thing always made me skeptical.

DG 105 for about $20. I've gotten almost a year out of it. Super looking too. Ask anybody who has used it. Took it through over 20 commercial touchless car washes last winter. Never phased it.

Wolfgang Glossy Paint Sealant

Great duribilty along with an amazing shine.

Zaino is the one thing mentioned here that I have experience with. Its durability always underwhelmed me and so I'm looking for better.

Menzerna PowerLock and WGDGPS sound the best so far from what I reading.

Ammo doesn't have enough of a following to make me comfortable paying that much.

Still looking into Finish Kare, Duragloss, PBL and DP lines... So much experience in these forums, its difficult to not waste time on such a small thing.

I really like Duragloss 111. My former employer at the car wash had me "wax" his new Lincoln a few years back. I used 111, and he ran that poor car through the wash at least once a week. 111 endured a good 6 months on the sides before the brushes completely obliterated it. The top surfaces got a couple extra months.
