Hi,

This one has me stumped, washed a white Audi, and these orange splatters remained over the front bumper, side mirrors and some of the bonnet. Looks like it's started to stain the paint. Can't feel anything when I run my hand over the surface.

Does anyone know what this is, and how to remove it? Thanks!

Not sure what that is, but I had a few spots (no where near what's in your picture) on a white subaru that looked similar and DG501 on a white pad took care of them.

Looks like rusty/hard water from a sprinkler system. In some areas in Florida you can see the sides of houses stained from them.

That would be my guess, but why it's only on the front of the car is slightly odd, maybe a matter of there they park in relation to a sprinkler?

First step would be to try a chemical cleaner like Iron-X or maybe optimum MDR or carpro spotless. That will be the easiest fix. Next would be clay. Then a paint cleaner like DG105, DG501 or any number of AIO products.

Hm, right well the car is usually parked on the grass outside my client's house, so could be sprinklers. Will try IronX otherwise I'm thinking Meguiars Ultimate Compound (or similar).

Looks like the stains we see from reclaimed water used in the sprinkler systems around a lot of parts in Florida.

Iron-X would be a good start. You should find a different place to park.

Thanks, it's a client's vehicle, will discuss with her. About to head over shortly to address the issue!

Ok, turns out IronX didn't help much, ended up using Gyeon Water Spot Remover, got rid of it easily. Applied and used as per directions :)
