So after receiving the new Wolfgang Uber Ceramic Coating to test and review I had enough left over to use on another car. Figured why not try it out on the GTO. The car is in good shape and at this particular time did not have a coating on it. Only HD Poxy. For prep work I did the following.
Washed with Wolfgang Uber Rinseless wash
Light polish on hood and deck lid with G21, Lake country new thin white polishing pad, BOSS perfecting cream
Full wipe down with Wolfgang Perfekt Finish Paint prep
Just like in my review I applied this coating outside and to be honest it was in more direct sunlight this time as it was later in the day. Even with though the panels were slightly warm I just worked in smaller sections. Application was a breeze!!! The product did flash a bit quicker but I found it still easy to work with. After applying it to the paint and headlights I also applied it to the glass but not before using the Wolfgang Perfekt Vision glass polish. For this I just used a microfiber hand applicator and applied it by hand then wiped off with a standard microfiber.
I have to say that the end results were stunning. Something about the way it looks now versus the other coatings/LSP's I have used in the past.
Not the best beading shots.
