Looking forward to this thread! Really enjoyed the last one.

Dude.

DUBLOWS6 ⛳

You’re the same guy that gave me this bit of bad info the first time I dipped my corvette.

This never happened by the way. Car is my daily driver. Parked outside almost every day. Last dip was on for over 3 years

Maybe if you keep it long enough you can do all the Skittles colors? I too enjoyed your original thread and looking forward to this one

Orange is my favorite color. I did the green first because I thought that color would look sweet and orange is a factory color.

I don’t like red much. Despise yellow and purple. Won’t be doing those

Removed tail light trim. Wish I had done this last time. Easy.

Plus wet sanded one rough area on a door

It's sound advice. I've owned the car 6 years and the car sits outside 24/7 and the Plastidip is cracking and peeling on the spoiler. If the car is garaged, it should be fine though.

Sounds like it was done poorly . My truck sits outside 24/7 and my dad now has it. Zero maintenance ever. No cracks. No peeling.

Removed the tail light trim pieces today (way easier than taping around them like last time.)

Washing tonight.

Has to dry a full day.

Next step is taping and masking it off late tomorrow night.

Maybe spraying it Friday and Saturday

Is that really your garage or your Goodfella's setup for whacking and disposing of wise guys? A man could get rid of a lot of bodies in there . . .

“Dead” giveaway are the body sized suitcases up on the shelf. :D

Just to play Devil's Advocate...you could have clearcoat failure after 6 years on a car that sits outside 24/7.

First couple of coats done in the base gun metal color
A couple more gallons of gray then to the orange
