The Special Equipment Market Assocation, better known as SEMA, is the ultimate gathering of some of the biggest names in the aftermarket industry for automotive parts and accessories. SEMA is something that every car guy or car girl should attend at least once in their life time. Plus, it's in Las Vegas Nevada! :righton:

Our flights are book, hotel reservations are made and while I can't speak for everyone, our (okay, just my) luggage is packed!

Here are a couple highlights from SEMA 2012:

One of the many reasons we attend the SEMA show every year is to educate those who are unfamiliar with the art of polishing paint.

*WARNING* - This photo is not for the faint of heart

Mike is always there to educate people on the difference between a swirl and a squirrel.

The SEMA show is a great chance to catch up with supporting vendors and find out what's new and what's hot in the industry. Every year we feature celebrity guests including the likes of Dennis Gage and Bruno Massel, just to name a few. ;)

Bruno Massel and Max at the 2012 SEMA show:

If you're in Las Vegas from Tuesday November 5th - Friday November 8th and plan on attending the SEMA show, be sure to stop by booth 12761 and say hello!

I'll be updating this thread with more SEMA 2013 news and information as it becomes available.

We're booked for the week and actually got a great deal on a room at the host hotel (LVH - formerly known as the Hilton).

We make sure to go down Autogeek Row every morning going in and again on the way out.

Ha ha... I took this picture...

Atrocious to see a car like this at SEMA...

It boggles the mind when you see some of the best custom and exotic cars on stage for the world to see and they have details like this overlooked. :(

Many people on this site probably have better looking daily drivers than some of the 'show cars'. :xyxthumbs:

SEMA seems cool, but it's not even open to the public =(
OR, at least that was my understanding.

So....hook me up with a pass? I'll work too haha.

One of the many reasons we attend the SEMA show every year is to educate those who are unfamiliar with the art of polishing paint.

Is there really in depth education at SEMA? I know you can visit vendor booths and get information but is it any more than 5 or 10 minutes of information?

SEMA is open to the public on the last day(Friday).

I will be there all week again this year

The show in not open to public but there are plenty of cars outside that you can walk around and see that you don't need a show badge for

So if I do attend. Will I be able to see the AutoGeek booth? Or I have to be a vender?

Nope on autogeek booth you must register to get to the booths

To register you must prove you are a valid automotive business SEMA Show |

I'm excited to see what comes out this year, to see if i'll get a new machine that has just been introduced or get me an older model. Either way I am getting a new machine :xyxthumbs:

My uncle told me they went last year. Lol

Here's the Celebrity Meet & Greet Schedule for this year's SEMA show.

Just wondering who told you this because you're not the first person I've heard say this about SEMA this year, even despite what their website says.
