The Special Equipment Market Assocation, better known as SEMA, is the ultimate gathering of some of the biggest names in the aftermarket industry for automotive parts and accessories. SEMA is something that every car guy or car girl should attend at least once in their life time. Plus, it's in Las Vegas Nevada! :righton:

Our flights are book, hotel reservations are made and while I can't speak for everyone, our (okay, just my) luggage is packed!

Here are a couple highlights from SEMA 2012:

One of the many reasons we attend the SEMA show every year is to educate those who are unfamiliar with the art of polishing paint.

Mike is always there to educate people on the difference between a swirl and a squirrel.

The SEMA show is a great chance to catch up with supporting vendors and find out what's new and what's hot in the industry. Every year we feature celebrity guests including the likes of Dennis Gage and Bruno Massel, just to name a few.

The SEMA show contains more than just pretty cars...

If you're in Las Vegas from Tuesday November 5th - Friday November 8th and plan on attending the SEMA show, be sure to stop by booth 12761 and say hello!

We're booked for the week and actually got a great deal on a room at the host hotel (LVH - formerly known as the Hilton).

We make sure to go down Autogeek Row every morning going in and again on the way out.

It boggles the mind when you see some of the best custom and exotic cars on stage for the world to see and they have details like this overlooked.

Many people on this site probably have better looking daily drivers than some of the 'show cars'. :xyxthumbs:

Is there really in depth education at SEMA? I know you can visit vendor booths and get information but is it any more than 5 or 10 minutes of information?

The show in not open to public but there are plenty of cars outside that you can walk around and see that you don't need a show badge for

It has been confirmed that Dennis Gage and Bruno Massel will be making an appearance at the Autogeek booth! Stay tuned for more news and information as we get closer to the show!

Max has outfitted Yancy with comfortable shoes to walk the show each day. Expect a ton (literally) of pictures. :xyxthumbs:
