Wife involving in detailing ?

Greetings, I just want to know if anyone of you have passed the same.
I started watching videos on Autogeek with my wife.
Now she start buying tools, waxes, towels, ... (with my money) :laughing:
I surprise how quick and easy she learn and make opinions of other videos on youtube.
She wash the cars, do the vacuum, ...
Is funny for me to see her using the Xenon light to find swirls.

Anyone ???
 
she's a keeper, why can't all women be like her! :D
 
Yep mines is not all that in to this but at a car show she was like (oh god look a them swirls) and I was like I sow Love you xD

My lady knows about swirls because of me. But has zero interest in detailing.

She does encourage me to keep pursuing it however. She says it gives me something to do.
 
Mine is involved with my detailing. She spends the money I make on herself!!
 
Mine Hates It, but I have worn her down and she doesn't complain outwardly anymore.

In exchange, I don't complain when a box from Zappos shows up every week with a new pair of shoes.
 
Mine helps me do IPA wipe downs and does the jambs for me if I'm in a hurry. She doesn't care as much as I do, but she can see the differences between swirls, buffer trails, etc.

She hates the words "sale" and "Autogeek" in the same sentence though. Holy moly don't do that on a bad day...
 
Mine doesn't care what I do, she supports me all the way. Even gets her hands dirty without asking.
 
3 things that i would love to find in a girl friend/wife...1) she loves Jesus and will go to church with me 2) she would go duck hunting with me 3) she cared enough about her vehicle to want it kept in perfect shape like i do....and in that order too haha
 
My wife cleans the interior and helps to remove wax, sealant, etc.
Sometimes she'll surprise me and buy something to help with detailing.
She now knows what to look for when it comes to swirls , if she washes the car she uses the two bucket method,she's learning:)
 
My wife is my detail partner on every vehicle we work on. She handles the interior while I do exterior. She is picker than me and won't accept anything other than perfection. If she wasn't around I wouldn't be able to have such a successful business IMO.

This almost describes my wife, just sub Bambi hunting for duck hunting. We haven't gone hunting together yet, but after Bambi trashed her TBSS she is out for revenge and wants ALL of Bambi-dom to pay the price.

BTW: She does an interior detail second to none which is good because I hate interior detailing. I've tried to get her to help with the exterior but she says my mad skillz are beyond her.
 
The most my girlfriend, who may as well be my wife, has helped me with detailing was when I was cleaning her aunt's car. She helped me clay the paint, lol. She also helped me remove the most annoying dealer badge from my car back when I first got it. Other than that, she's not really interested. I show her some of the bad before pics in the Show N' Shine section and she seems to enjoy seeing the after pics. I think she just kind of tolerates the whole detailing craze.

sorry for the late respond and my english, I do the google translate.

That's how it started,
She never show any interest how to clean a car before.
I put a tv in the master and connect to my pc , every night I like to see videos on youtube. She start making questions... "why he do that ? , " that product is for what " ? ... etc.
and now when she saw a video how to use any detailing tool she want to buy it. She use some products to clean the home too.


I want to share this with you friends,
We are not rich and don't have a lot of money but like many people have a dream, win the lottery :)
She always said "if we win I will buy the Porsche Cayman"
So one day when I driving near to the Porshe dealer and make stop , just to asking the price. Daydreamers
We start waking around and the seller show the cars.
The funny of this situation is we don't gone a buy it, and she asked to the seller about the orange peals, swirls, ...:poke:

she is detailing addict ? need a doctor ?
