What appears to be the surface of some distant planet, or perhaps a rare skin disease on an alien life form; is actually the results of a little Collinite 845 after a rain shower.

I'm with you on that one. This is after a month on my girlfriends car

Love Collinite products. Have been using them for over 30 years.

Every pic of Collinite 845 I see shows off some of the best beading I've ever seen. And it's pretty cheap, too. I'm currently using Meg's ULW followed with D156. The D156 beads water so damn well, some of the best water beading I've ever seen, possibly comparable to Collinite 845, judging by looks only,

Drying the car is difficult because there is so much water. It just sits there. What's the best trick to dry? I went through a lot of MF towels.

invest in a metro master blower. Blow all the water off and maybe spot dry with a towel

I have a weed blower which is pretty powerful. No?

I just use a California water blade. It's silicone and I've never had a scratch problem. I knock the heavy stuff off and dry with a Water Sprite.

I use the sheeting method followed by my leaf blower for the spots that water gets trapped. I use a nice waffle weave to dry the windows and just a nice plush microfiber towel and Ultima WW for the wipe down. The leaf blower is a cheap Homelite from HD, works fine for around $35.

845 still makes me giddy during the first wash after I've applied it. It beads so well it reminds me of a coating.

Agreed! As a matter of fact, all of the Collinite tripplets do this! Even when doing a rinseless the water beads even though your not spraying anything, rather swiping with the grout sponge, crazy!

The sheeting process is one of those moments that makes me feel a 3rd-grader would have figured that out before I could have. Thank you, I like that idea.

Then, I shall plug in my leaf blower (I'v had for years) and entertain my neighbors for a while. You know, those moments when you see someone performing a task which, unless you understand what they are doing, appear like you've lost your marbles.

Just like the famouse hot-sauce commercial saying goes: "It's so good, I use that sh*t on everything!" Referring to the wax.
