Hi,

So I have a brand new 2013 Honda Civic EX in Crimson Pearl, which is basically a burgundy/maroon color. I will be getting the car professionally detailed on Saturday
morning to remove very light swirls from the goon "detailers" at the dealership.

Since I live in a condo community, with no access to a water hose hook up and I am
determined to NEVER run my Civic through a automated cash wash, or ever let the
17 year old sagging pants teenagers at the dealer touch my car, I will be doing rinseless
hand washes.

What would be the very best rinseless wash for my Civic, using the 2 bucket system?
Is one really better than another, or just flip a coin and pick one?

ONR? DG? Meguairs? Pinnacle?, etc?

Thanks!

I am a "Mexican" and a heck of a detailer..Just look at my Show N Shine.... kthxbye:nomore:

Mexican here, i really need to get away from working at the high volume car wash.

from wikipedia...In medicine nodules are solid, raised areas in or under the skin...and this...Nodules are normally benign and often painless...and my favorite...The sexual transmitted disease (STD) gonorrhea is also known for its cause of nodules on the genitalia and mouth for those who are victim to the disease.

i'm thinking Nodule, you may want to hit the backspace and re-start the thread...pretty sure you won't find any love here using derogatory language. :nomore:

I revised my post. Sorry guys, wasnt my intention to offend anyone here.
I am brand new member and dont wanna start off on the wrong foot.

WOW....Seriously dude..Not mexican but I am human... WOW...

Answering your question, best is subjective but given the current sale and you have a dark color car I would get the Pinnacle Rinseless Or ONR with Nuba.

Also the Pinnacle Waterless concentrate is $12.00 which makes a great QD.

Is there one rinseless wash that works especially well on Honda paint?

Rinseless washes aren't paint-specific, they won't work any differently on your Honda paint or my Subaru paint, they're just rinseless washes.

That being said the only one I've used is ONR, which worked well for me. The only thing I'll mention, and I don't know if this is how all rinsless washes feel, but the ONR seemed a little "grabby" against the paint with my MF Chenille wash mitt. Obviously the solution wasn't very sudsy and foamy, so I don't know if I was just convincing myself since the solution was more watery that it was grabbing against the paint more. I tend to put a little more than recommended ONR per gallon in hopes of increasing lubricity so that this "grabbiness" isn't causing any actual marring.

What is the best?
Who makes the best car?

Hard to answer which is the best but maybe others here can chime in.
I use Turtle Wax Rinsless Wash, I'm sure it's not the best but I love it and I get it for a great price.
It's works really good for me an cost like $6.00

Great!
I think I will buy either the ONR or Pinnacle to start out with and see which one I perfer.

ONR is my favorite, but ONR+Wax would probably suit you better due to the condo and stuff.

ONR+Wax is i believe 15-20 bucks more though (talking about the big gallon size)

I have ONR and have not tried it yet. Is there a big difference in ONR and ONR + wax?

I have four on the shelf: Meguiar's, both ONR's and DG. IMO, Meguiar's is the strongest cleaner, but it seems to take away some of my wax, so I reserve it for a pre-polishing wash. DG and the ONR's are about equal in performance, but I find DG to be faster-drying and less susceptible to streaking, especially at lower temps. Once the weather gets colder, I'll likely reach for the DG first.

People seem to like the Duragloss with Aquawax from a lot of posts I have read on here. I use Blackfire Wet Diamond Rinseless personally on my Hondas and don't plan on switching to anything else. Smells awesome too.

One thing I would recommend is to do the Garry Dean method instead of the 2 bucket method. I use one bucket with 1.5 gallons of water and 3 capfuls (3/4 oz.) of BFRW. Throw in 8 towels and ready to go. Throw one more towel in and ring out real well for your drying towel and then a dry towel for your final buff. I only use 530 gsm towels for RW. You are always using a clean towel with this method. I'll mix up some QD using the BFRW if the car is really dirty and spray that on each panel before I wash it.

According to Urban Dictionary, the only "goon" here is the OP. Racial remarks shouldn't be tolerated here.

Finally finished homework. Logged on after. Read through the previous posts. Just saying...

I think we are purposely getting trolled. Well goodnight everybody. I have to get ready for class tomorrow.

Hopefully I'm wrong,
