Had the pleasure of working on this vehicle over the weekend. Its the first ive seen in South Africa. The owner wanted to restore some gloss to the paintwork. Upon inspection i noticed it was riddled with swirls and plenty of RIDS. So the initial call for a 1 stage polish went through the window, the paintwork was in need of some correction. Worked on a test spot and settled on Meguiars ultimate compound...Topped off with M26, will let the pictures do the talking...

Thanks for looking...

Great job! That is a sweet looking car. If you don't mind me asking what metal polish/technique did you use? Great results!

Awesome looking car well done on the detail

Given the choice...

Would you rather work on cars like this streetrod?

Or

Would you rather work on normal, daily driver transportation type cars?

To be Honest, this was a very rewarding experience for me. The lines, and details-chrome bits etc of these classics is just something else. A far cry from the modern daily drives that i usually work on. Im sure to relish future opportunities to work on such cars but sadly, unlike the U.S, its not cars that we often come across here in South Africa and certainly not in the condition presented here.

Cool car! Great job!

Thanks Vet!:xyxthumbs:
