Went out and polished the Equinox today. Wash, clay, seal, wax. Looking great...then this.....
Wife had a incident with a dumptruck this afternoon. No one injured thankfully. The car i'm guessing is a loss. Sucks because it was a good dependable vehicle with over 156K miles on it. It was a 2003 Chevy Cavalier. I don't think any of it will buff out....

Dagnabbit...I thought those reflections were CC failure.
Shouldda known better.
Glad that all ended well.

Gonna take a lot of orange pads and m105 to get that out....at least it was un eventful!

Sucks.

The CC failure on the hood reminds me of a map of Europe.

I used to use Zaino on the car all the time. The clear coat on those years Cavaliers and Sunfires were horrible. Just disintegrated. It wasn't from lack of care. The car did live in South Boston near the airport most of it's life(lived and worked there) so I'm sure that didn't help it either.

That car was a tank though. I was hit three times in it, another was a hit and run and I hit a dead deer once with it. If you notice the rad support pushed in, that was from the deer.

At least you didn't wax the cavalier and then that happened. Sorry for the loss. My sister has one around the same year I think 2002. You are right about the clear coat it is pretty bad. Hers doesn't look as bad as yours but the hood already has failure and I believe the trunk lid does too.

The polish you used is amazing....turned a 2010 Equinox into a 2002 Cavalier!

Now you have to choose a different pad/polish combo to turn it into a 2014 Escalade.

I like the way you think. haha

Got a Ford Taurus for a rental. Might polish that up. lol

I do my AGO on my phone app. So when I looked at the roof of the car. I thought it was cloud reflections  It doesn't let me zoom in since he used PhotoBucket lol

I've been wondering, on detailing rental cars. I know Meguiar's gets rentals so they can work on them. So I wondered if thy have to get permission before they actually work on them?

The car rental company, probably gets super excited when they rent out to Meguiar's
