Does any1 know about the cheap soap from all the dollar stores, Dollar Tree, $.99 store?
I looked at them just for my friends cars as they are cheap azzes and they are not thick like the good stuff I have. Do you know if they are ok to use? Can I substitute more OZ's for thickness? I was thinking that if I bought 10 of them for $10 and used a third of the bottles that it would be cheaper for me just to buy the good stuff and use that for my friends cars. LOL I guess I know the answer but I want to know what u guys think as u are the opinions I care for. Thank you.

The best advice I can give is to just get Chemical Guys Wash n Gloss, you use so little, a gallon at $20 will last you at least 5 years, more if you only do your own car. It cost about $.05 cents per wash if you measure correctly.

I don't measure, I eye ball. Soap is not that expensive and I like suds. Thanks
 
The problem with the eyeball technique is that if you are not dealing with a pH neutral soap, it (in larger concentration) will strip your LSP.

Cheap soap in high concentration = stripping LSP = costing time and money in constantly having to reapply the LSP!!
 
We're supposed to use some kind of soap to wash cars?

Anyone tried Preparation H on orange peel?
I remember reading some years ago about some guy on the Yugo board was saying it worked wonders for him!

Anyone tried this yet? Thanks.
