Two years and 50k miles later my headlights have some pitting. Without resorting to abrasive sanding and polishing to level them out, is there any plastic coating or product that I can apply that would fill them in to make it less noticable? Other than that the headlights are in great condition which is why I would rather avoid a highly abrasive route if possible.

Or you can do what I did yesterday with mine, replace them. True, its not the cheapest way out but now my headlights sure look great.
(O, and it did take me four hours.)

I agree you'll need to sand them.
I love using 3M ungrit sanding pads.
Started with 2000 grit then finish with 3000 grit.
Then polish them back to a high shine and protect them.

Dang...was hoping you guys wouldnt say that. Lol.

Carpro Dlux doesnt do any filling?

Sent from my Galaxy S2

If you are worried about sanding through or doing permanent damage by sanding, forget it. That plastic is super thick. It would take an hour sanding in the same spot with 60 grit to cut through IMO
