How much more aggressive is the Megs Burgundy cutting pad compared to the Yellow Polishing pads?

Say using Megs UC or M105, I know Megs doesn't recommend using that pad on the DA Polisher.

A lot more aggressive.

What are you working on?

What are you trying to do?

:)

I was thinking about trying to remove or lessen some of the deeper scratches on my white Jeep without resorting to wet sanding if I really don't have to.

I do have 3000 grit and 2500 grit paper, but then the question after that is removing the sanding marks left by doing that..

So that's why the question of just buffing them out and or reducing them.

I don't have a rotary buffer anymore so I am not sure if it's worth it or not, there aren't that many scratches and I have reduced and or removed like 95% of them already.

Sorry for the bad photos, changed lenses to my Macro lens so these are a lot better.

Fixed them, either gone completely or hardly noticeable anymore.

Went to a 4" Megs Yellow pad and M105, cut really fast.

Seemed to be a better option than the burgundy pad.

While I was at it and already had M105 out anyway I put on the yellow 6.5" pad and went over the whole Jeep. Then switched to the tan 6.5" finishing pad and M205 and polished it all out again.

Topped it off with NXT 2.0...

It's got that wet just pained look now, there is a rather large difference between M105 and UC, also M205 and UP on my Jeep using the same pads.
