Hey, I'm looking to purchase a Pressure Washer and this one came up. (AR Blue Clean AR118) It seems to be exactly what I'm looking for. Pretty much just buying it to wash the cars.

It seems as though the AR Blue products had issues connecting to Foam Cannons such as the MTM.

It looks like they manufactured a new adapter:

Originally I was just going to purchase a Gilmour foam gun but I want to achieve better results. Doesn't seem like the gun can produce the same amount of foam that the cannon can.

If I purchase the AR118 does it come with the new MTM adapter or must I purchase it separately?

This is what I'm looking to purchase: (is this all I need)?

AR118 Pressure Washer
Amazon.com: AR Blue Clean AR118 1,500 PSI 1.5 GPM Hand Carry Electric Pressure Washer: Patio, Lawn & Garden

BLUE CLEAN FOAM CANNON ADAPTER

MTM Foam Lance
Amazon.com : Professional Foam Lance Adjustable with 32 oz. Bottle : Pressure Washer Accessories : Patio, Lawn & Garden

Let me know if this looks good! Thanks! :xyxthumbs:

I ordered one this weekend. If you wait a couple of days I'll let you know. You have to order the adapter separate. I ordered the pressure washer from amazon and the adapter directly from AR Blue.

Sounds good. Let me know how that goes!

Another member also has the AR118 and bought AR's foam cannon. This way there's no need for the adapter. He was quite happy with the results!

oh snap. i got a 383 and will be getting a foam cannon soon.... so you just put the adapters on the handle them the foam cannon screws onto the adapter?

If you have an MTM Foam cannon you need to buy the AR adapter. If you buy AR's Foam Cannon then it bolts right up.

Holy crap I didn't even know they had their own foam cannon..... Does anyone have any exp with it???

Yeah, 2 people on the forums have it and have only good things to say.

Their foam cannon just released this summer so it's relatively new. AR is a reputable company so I'm sure the quality is there.

I'm going to buy it as well when I purchase the AR118.

Ordered one, had such a headache with the connection issues I just returned it. Went to lowes purchased the Greenworks 1700psi for $175 ($35 more) and now if I ever have an issue I can take it right back to lowes no questioned asked. There was another forum member that had a significant amount of issues with his AR Blue. After hearing that fiasco I would never buy their products.

I know there is a few treads floating around about AR and the headache of hooking up a foam cannon to them

All these issues were before AR made their own adapters and foam cannons. They now offer an adapter that bolts straight to the MTM or you can just buy their foam cannon which bolts right up to their pressure washers.

this is their foam cannon that bolts directly to their PW.Is the foam comparable to the MTM.

Yes foam is comparable. I might be wrong but I think it's the same thing as the mtm. On a YouTube video Phil at detailersdomain said that their uber foam cannon was the same as the mtm since mtm makes most of the foam cannons. The bottles may differ in looks but the main part looks identical

Some photos of my ar foam cannon in action. 2oz of honeydew snowfoam and 1oz of auto finesse avalanche with rest filled with water. Couldn't be happier

Most other pressure washers don't need an adapter for the mtm hydro cannon

For other people who don't have the ar washer who will read this clearly.

I thought most people already know this. The point of this thread was to let people know ar has joined the foam cannon game. Buy their unit and nothing else is needed. Priced extremely fair as well

I made this thread mainly for members who are using or are interested in AR Blue equipment. AR products seem to get very good reviews. They are now targeting the automotive industry. Hence, the reason for this thread.

I would like to know who's using this product and how happy they are with it. Previously, AR didn't supply an adapter for the MTM nor did they have a foam cannon. They recently introduced both products.

You are correct. Some Pressure Washers do not need adapters to fit the MTM foam cannon. IMO, you should pick the best pressure washer that suits your needs, whether or not it needs an adapter shouldn't be too much of an issue.
