I was contact about a month ago to do a full turn around on a 1993 Ford Mustang Cobra. Today I was finally able to make to the trip to the car and bring some life back into this beauty. I was about to go over then vehicle with the customer and do the "Baggie Test" with the customer to show him how the contamination builds up on the paint over time. After that it was time to work.

Exterior:

Wheels:
  • Wheels cleaned with 1Z Colour-Tec wheels cleaner
  • Tires cleaned with Meguiar's Non Acidic Wheel and Tire Cleaner
  • Wheel Wells cleaned with Meguiars APC+

Paint:
  • Washed with CG Wash and Clear Red
  • Paint sprayed down with Iron-x
  • Paint decontaminated with Speedy Prep Towel Fine Grade
  • Paint compounded with Meguiar's MF Cutting pad and D300 via Rupes 21
  • Paint polished with M205 on a foam polishing pad via GG6
  • Paint wiped down with CarPro Eraser
  • Opti-coated applied
  • Trim Dressed with Wolfgang Trim sealant

I'm not a big mustang fan unless it's something pre 1970, but man that color is beautiful! Nice work Evan.

Great job Evan car looks amazing.

Beautiful work Evan. That old Fox body looks great for its age.
Thanks. The current owner bought it from another guy. Over all its in good hsape a few touchup spots but excellent condition.

Always nice to see a older car in great shape. Even better when someone does a great job detailing it! Awesome job again.

Good job.

My favorite Fox and favorite color. Wish I had gone after one long ago... I also regret selling my 89 GT in Bright Red and Titanium. Didn't see too many in bright red, always burgandy.

That color is made for that car. Great job on it!

IMO those are amongst the best looking wheels to ever go on a car, factory or aftermarket!

What a cool color to work on!! Looks great

Agreed!

Not quite the same color but along the same lines, Ford had Caymen Green for the Escort GT of that time, very sharp looking color as well. Wish vibrant colors would come back on certain cars, atleast Dodge is doing it with the Darts!
