Favorite type of car shampoo

Im on the fence with cg as they have gotten mixed reviews.

Try one for yourself...their shampoos are good. Citrus Wash & Gloss, Max-Suds, Mr. Pink, & Honeydew Snowfoam all get positive reviews on this site. I have Mr. Pink and Wash & Wax.

I love Optimum Car Wash as well as the Meguiar's Gold Class and Ultimate Wash & Wax.

i use ultimate wash and wax, but i am on the fence for shampoos without wax.....don't know what to get there

Blackfire and Stuff I get locally from Prevette's called Ricks Best Wash with Wax.

I have a Black Camry and am getting my Black Friday list together:

Here is a look:
Menzerna Polish PO85RD, Mernzerna 85rd, Menzerna finish po85rd
Menzerna Fast Gloss Compound, Fast Gloss 400, FG400 compound
128 oz. Duragloss Car Wash Concentrate (CWC) #902
Poorboy’s World Quick Detailer PLUS 32 oz.

So based on what I read I here is what I am considering for Black friday so far. I am looking for a really good tire cleaner and sealent for tires as winter is coming. Also would you add anythign else to the list?

I currently have:
megs. 26
DP poli seal
Optimum tire cleaner
misc shop rags
windex
poorboys shampoo
meguires back to black for trim

Leave feedback my budget is limited so Im going for that midnight mirror black look without breaking the bank and am open to ideas.

Adam's for me, amazing product IMO. Just personal preference.

I would recommend you find one you like and stick with it...don't buy the hype of 45 different car shampoo's for different tasks. Ever been to the CG site for car shampoo's...good god are they marketing geniuses.

I was using CG wash and gloss, but I've moved to Optimum and I like it better.

What specifically do you like better about Optimum? I wanna try them and DG's shampoo.

I use CG Maxisuds or Wash and Gloss depending. I like Duragloss 902 but can get the CG cheap here locally by the gallon. I do use ONR for quick touchups.

For a window cleaner if you have a Costco membership cannot beat the cost of Sprayway, use it on every glass surface inside and out and in the home. Only downside it smells like window cleaner.

CG wash and clear and AMMO foam so far - want to try Megs hyper wash and auto finesse lather.

I've been using Chemcial Guys Maxi-Suds for about a year now and love it, however I've read so many detailers talking highly of CG'S Mr.Pink so I bought it and will do a comparison of the two.
Today I get to try it on a very dirty 05' Ford pickup that I picked up.

Another Duragloss 902 user here. :xyxthumbs:

Course I'll grab a free sample of what every car soap/shampoo that available with my order to try.

I haven't tried everything but I have a hard time imagining a soap being better than Adams for normal maintainace washes. Love that stuff!
