What problem are you experiencing with the included applicator?

It's not the easiest product to use. It's not the applicator, it's the technique. You can use any spongy applicator and get great results.

The best way to apply it is to add less to the applicator, but add it more frequently. Streaking can usually be fixed by buffing over it just with the primed applicator.

:iagree:

I had no problems using it this way. The key is to use sparingly.

you can use a MF applicator, but seems to use much more product.

The materials used on interiors can be very different, and I've noticed differences in the ease of application, ranging from easy/no issues to a bit more work. The amount of product also seems to vary, since some materials are essentially glossy plastic and needs very little, and other materials (especially pliable, textured leather-like materials) seem to need a "primer" layer of product first, but look good on the second coat. I always finish with a final wipe using a dry MF, after a few minutes of dwell time. I use a dedicated cheapo MF for this (I rubberband the towel to the bottle when I store it).

Also possible it's not able to break through whatever remnants of the product you previously used. You might try a pure cleaner first (one with no dressing such as 1Z Einszett Cockpit Interior Cleaner , but there are other things you could use), then re-apply.

I really like the results with this product and just the included applicator, so give it another shot and let us know.

That was my first thought. Enough is enough and more is not better. Once the applicator is primed add new product very sparingly. The end result with this product tends to be really worth the small effort.

My only problem was it left white chalkish stuff on a certain black VW dash and door panels. But I hear this happens to some black with this product. Works great on my other two vehicles. I just tried with a MF applicator on my Mustang this weekend and worked great.
