I'm going to detail a convertible soon. Just wondering if I should use the foam cannon on the top or just wash it with soap/ water, apc?

RaggTop cleaner has worked very well for me in the past.

On my Wife's Camaro I have used RaggTop after it had been cleaned but often wondered if I should use just clear water after that ?????????

+1 on RaggTopp you can buy the kit the best stuff I have used so far.

I wonder who on this forum has extensive use, and thus an arguable opinion, regarding RaggTopp vs. 303 Fabric Cleaner & Fabric Guard...or perhaps something better than either?

I've used both and have had convertibles for 13 years now. 303 is better, period. Why? Because you can apply it nice and thick and not get aerosol overspray all over everything. It also goes farther, so it cost less.

I just clean my top with foam from the cannon. It's fine. The 303 holds up forever. If your looking for "convertible top cleaner" for deep cleaning, go to your local BMW dealer - they sell it:
