So this was a customer who found me on Facebook and was looking for paint correction. After a quick conversation on the phone he scheduled his appointment. When he drop off the car I couldn't believe what I shaw holograms and burnt edges all over the car from improper use of a rotary buffer. The customer had brought me some Gtechniq exo v2 apply which I have never used before. So did some research on the this product was very easy to apply and came out very nice. The customer was very happy with the turn out and will doing his friends black Ford Raptor very soon.

Meg's 105/205
Uber yellow 5.5"-4" foam pads
Menz Top Inspection
Griot's 6"
PC with 4" backing plate
Gtechniq EXO V2
















 
Man, those hologram/swirls sure look like a jelly fish.... and Todd, you ARE the jelly fish killer!

Wow that car was a disaster, nice job cleaning that swirled up hologramed mess of a car.
 
Pureshine you always exceed expectations with your professional work. Will Gtechniq be a permanent addition to your arsenal?
 
I can read the model number on your garage door opener in the reflection from the hood!

No Gtechinq will not be! Not a big fan of it really I like Opti-coat better and I think Opti-coat is easier to apply.

Thanks looking :) it seems all my paint correction jobs are all black cars.
 
Hello I'm somewhat new to the site and this is my first post and I have a question about the taping between the hood and fender. After you're done and take the tape off do you do that part by hand or is it so small do you just leave it? I have a Cadillac XLR-V color Black Raven that I plan in doing when I get back to the states next week (working in Iraq) and I have all the stuff waiting on me that I bought from AG. Every night when I get off work I light my cigar, read the new forums that are posted and look at all the amazing work you guys/gals do. It's truly is a art.

I tape off one side polish and then tape the other side and polish. Hope this answer your question.
 
Is the tape to protect the edges or to keep product out of the gap between the two pieces? In your one pic it looks like the gap is completely taped over. Thanh you for your reply.

It helps edges and polish going cracks easier clean up.
