2006 Jeep detail swirled out mess!

This 2006 Jeep came to me with some serious pant issues. Deep scratches, oxidation, stains, and swirls. The inside was in need of some tlc as well.
Products used were flex rotary via wool pad and 105 compound.
Meguiars micro fiber pads and micro fiber correction compound on D/A
Lake country orange pads and Menzerna super intensive polish on D/A
Meguiars clay white
Meguiars all purpose cleaner
Mothers leather tech cleaner and moisture infusion gel
Armoral car wash soap
Eagle one all wheel cleaner on tires
Various brushes vacuum attachments and micro fiber towels
Shark steamer
Bissell little green machine
Wet dry vac
Door jambs cleaned with Meguiars super degreaser
Interior dressed with Meguiars ultimate interior protectant
Wax Meguiars Gold class plus

That interior looked great. The paint also came out nice. I would hate to do cars that bad. I guess I am lucky that my cars come pretty well kept. I would charge some stupid amount almost to sent them away. LOL or tell them to get a good wash and interior job done before they brought it to me. LMAO I am soo stuck up its not funny. No really I have been getting spoiled lately. Better get my head out of the clouds.

I just use Dawn before I do them, comes out even cleaner for claying....

What's your thoughts on 2BM and grit guards when doing full correction on swirled-out defect laden messes like pictured?
Just curious.

Well you don't want to add to the problems that are already there. Making the job even harder :D

I was just saying soap wise no need to really go crazy expensive boutique car wash soap when it's going to be full corrected anyway. Might as well just pour it out on the ground as it's a waste...

And the Dawn will strip all the old wax off and get it really clean for the claying step. :xyxthumbs:

Question for you pros.....do you cringe at the fact that you put all this time into paint correction and full interior revival for your customers cars that are daily drivers and soccer practice shuttles knowing that within 30 days it will be back to being a mess again? Good for business I guess, but it would drive me crazy if you are regularly putting a lot of work into the same vehicles due to general lack of proper maintenance and care from the owners.

If you remember the thread increadably cheap finds I picked up a few bottles of that soap for like $1.36 I think. Works just fine. Although as far as a wax in it goes I doubt it. But cleans just fine for me and I am pretty happy with it.

Thank you very much. Yeah a lot of cars I get are dirty doesn’t bother me much.

Thank you very much for the compliment ! As for the 2BM Its better for me to use it to keep my wash media cleaner. I am very picky about my wash media being clean. Plus like was said before I don’t want to go grinding more dirt in the paint.

In this case this car was bought used and was in that kind of shape from then. The owner is not a mom with a bunch of kids so im pretty confident it will stay looking good. But sometimes that happens and I get more upset when people call for a car they want detailed so they can sell it.
