Im looking to get a mobile pressure washer to put in the trailer. But I wanted to get some feedback first.

How and when should a pressure washer be used? How much psi should be safe to use?

And will a walmart one work just fine? If im on a budget and at least will be warranted.

I would try to get a pressed washer for detailing with a tank.. Gas powered ones from lows or Home Depot will work but burn the pump out quick... And one from Walmart needs to be fed so I don't think it will work!!!!

Harber Freight has an electric pressure washer for $93. Its like 1500 PSI.

Any thoughts?

I bought mine for my mobile business at Lowes and have had zero problems. I've got a 2700 Psi Troy Bilt with a Briggs motor and it has been phenomenal. I use a 125 gallon static tank and it has no issues handling the water supply. Proper maintenance is key for any longevity.

Sent from my SCH-I545 using AG Online

Idk if I should get a gas one or just electric. I heard that a lot of homeowners get annoyed by the noise from the pressure washers?

And wouldn't 1500 PSI be enough?

1500psi would be plenty. Would also work well with a foam gun.

Any pressure washer will work.
Some are cheap and some are very expensive.
I've use a lot of different ones.
They all work, they all spray water.
Some last longer then others.
Buy what you can afford.

The only reason for a tank is to bring water to the job site.

Ohh alright. Most home owners should have a water hook up, but I would like to have a tank for a spare.

What kind of tanks do I need to look up? Are they called anything in particular?

I am picking up a 250 gallon tank tomorrow for $50!

The only electric pressure washer I know Walmart sells is the Karcher K 2.360. That's the one I use, and it doesn't need to "be fed" per Karcher. They say the pump is strong enough to suck water from a source.

However, you will want to order the suction attachment from Karcher, because people have reported a cut garden hose just collapses.

I've had mine for almost 2 years and it still works flawlessly.

If I get the 250 gallon tank, I dont have to fill it all the way up then. So it doesnt way too much.

Walmart has a Stanley pressure washer that I keep seeing. It's around $120 and even has a nice hose reel. Can't remember the specs though..

I went and purchased the one for $90 at Harbor Freight. With a $20 extended warranty.

I got a 250 gallon tank for $50. I know its big but would it work fine if I just fill it up to 100 gallons?

You can fill the tank with however much water you think you'll need but even at 100 gallons, your still at 834 lbs. How will your be transporting your equipment? Truck, trailer, van?

I have a 6x10 enclosed cargo trailer. Its a 2013 and its 1,100 pounds. And I also have a f250 pick up. short bed.

I was thinking about a nice set up in the trailer..

the problem with driving around with a half filled tank is it will "slosh" around and make the trailer unstable and bring too much water will be a waste of fuel. this might be good for a home based business but you need to see what you typically use for a job and just drag that much around. and even better way would be to drive it empty and see if you can just fill at the site you are working for the amount you will need and then you can just work from your trailer with out having to drag all the water around wasting fuel.

How much do you think I could sell this on craigslist for? So I could get a much smaller one.

250 gal tank is way to big and is over kill unless your doing dealerships. One 55 gal barrel will wash 3 cars.
55 gal barrels are usually free, but you need a plastic guy to drill the connectors in them.
I have 2 55's in my van and can put another if I need to.

And the biggest reason to bring water is to bring DI water.
