Need help foam cannon/ foam gun

I am looking to buy a foam gun or foam cannon what are the difference I think one hooks up to a power washer which I have. what are the pros and cons between the two? When do you use them?
 
The Foam Cannon which is for high pressure use creates massive amounts of thick foam. The Foam Gun for water hose use creates less dense, less "sudsy" foam. I have a MTM Hydro Cannon for my pressure washer. It is lots of fun! The foam cannon will lay down thick shampoo and give it time to dwell while breaking up dirt, road salt, etc. I don't use it everytime I wash a vehicle but it is nice to have.

What is the recommended shampoo dilution ratio for a foam gun? My foam gun can mix up to 10:1 ratio.
If the shampoo recommends 5 capfuls (1 oz) to 5 gallons water, do you add the shampoo full strength into the foam gun or dilute it slightly with water?

Fill the foam bottle with water and I add 2 oz of soap. I have both the gun/ cannon and prefer the cannon. It creates a ticker foam.
 
How much are they? Do you have to buy a attachment for your cannon?
 
Go with the Foam Cannon + the Power Washer if you can. With the right soap...it is like a winter wonderland every single time you wash the car. :awesome:

I have a access to a honda blackmaxx power washer like you said could I get the adapters from a hardware store
 
Google MTM foam cannon, I got mine about 2 weeks ago from Amazon for less than 60 bucks. Dultmeier has them for 55 bucks as well. Part No. MV140263. The fitting that is included worked with my Blackmax no problem. Have fun!

I have had a bit of a problem with my gun as the instructions are not very clear. Imo, my chemical guys has 6 settings,with that said,50/50 would be ideal, try using enough soap to fill the bottom of the gun and then add a bit of water and let the gun run on 0.
