Did my first referral job off the Jeep Cherokee job I did a couple of weeks ago. That guy's neighbor saw his Cherokee and wanted me to do his truck ASAP.

This wasn't a full correction...Just a clean it up and make it shine job.

Products:

ONR wash
Nanoskin Fine grade prep towel
Sonax Full effect Wheel Cleaner
Sonax Dashboard Cleaner
Aerospace 303
Armor All
Stoner's Invisible Glass
Meguiars Gold Class leather cleaner
HD Polish via white Lake Country flat pad/Rupes 21
Opti-Seal

Before:

A couple 50/50's:

After:

It was 5 degrees out when I started and dark when I finished, so unfortunately I don't have any pics outside. With the age of the truck and the amount of oxidation and defects, it really needed to be compounded, but he wasn't paying for that this time around. Overall I was pretty pleased with the outcome for being a one step polish and seal job. That HD Polish is a real treat to work with. It's quickly becoming a go to polish for me. This was my first time using the Sonax wheel cleaner......um yeah, that stuff is awesome.

Unfortunately I wasn't home when he picked the truck up due to being called out for my regular job, but my wife said he was thrilled.

keep working it out brother, keep working it out.

Looks great!

I think im definitly going to give HD line a shot. Have you used it with MF pads yet?

Great job. So I being reading allot on hd and don't are a step 1 or so on, I've read hd adapt is really good as well. I think I'm going yo give it a try and try the adapt then the all in one polish/seal and see the results

That's nice work. I see the "mr buddy" heater in the reflection. 5 degrees outside . How well does that heat your garage?

I did not try it with a microfiber pad. The only micro pads I have at the moment are cutting pads, so I just stuck to a white pad since this was going to be a one step job

I used a torpedo heater to get the garage up to a comfortable temp and then used the Mr. Buddy to maintain the temp which it did a great job of

I don't have any adapt yet, although it sounds like an interesting product. I started out with. Speed and it just wasnt getting enough out, so switched up to the dedicated polish which worked better
